WOMEN IN SUSTAINABILITY

We are a Pan-African coordinating organization working with civil society groups, corporate institutions, and local and international development partners to unite women and women-led groups—especially at the grassroots—to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across Africa.

We champion new perspectives and catalytic ideas that accelerate progress toward the SDGs, including closing gender inequality gaps.

We believe women are uniquely positioned to drive sustainable development and to help build a better world for future generations.

Our approach to inclusion is rooted in partnership. We work with all stakeholders—women, men, institutions, and HeForShe champions—to fast-track SDG achievement and bridge inequality gaps. We encourage men to stand with women, because together we rise; divided we fall.

OUR MISSION

To empower and connect women and women-led groups across Africa by fostering strong partnerships, providing capacity-building opportunities, and promoting innovative solutions that accelerate sustainable development, reduce inequality, and strengthen community resilience.

OUR VISSION

To create a sustainable and inclusive Africa where women—especially at the grassroots—lead transformative action, champion gender equality, and drive progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
